Process Cooling & Industrial Refrigeration

Process Cooling & Industrial Refrigeration

Chilled water, glycol, process coolers, hatchery systems, data cooling and custom temperature-controlled environments — designed, installed and maintained by licensed refrigeration mechanics across the Sunshine Coast and regional Queensland.

The refrigeration most contractors won't touch

Most air conditioning companies install split systems and walk away. Process cooling and industrial refrigeration is a different trade — it demands a refrigeration mechanic who understands heat loads, glycol ratios, chilled-water reticulation and the specific requirements of the process being cooled. That's what we do.

From our Moffat Beach workshop we design, install and maintain industrial refrigeration systems across the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and regional Queensland. We've serviced refrigeration protecting approximately $230 million in pharmaceutical product and approximately $10 million in food for remote Far North Queensland communities. We don't just install equipment — we engineer it to your process.

Whether you need a glycol chiller for a brewery, a chilled-water plant for a commercial building, a hatchery temperature-control system, a process cooler for a production line or precision cooling for a data room, we can design and build it. See our cool room construction and specialist refrigeration pages for related capabilities.

What we do

Process cooling capabilities

Every system is engineered to the heat load, target temperature and operating conditions of your process — not a catalogue selection.

Process Cooling

Dedicated cooling circuits for industrial processes — compressors, heat exchangers and chillers sized to your heat load and duty cycle, not a generic catalogue unit.

Large-Scale Chilled Water

Chilled-water systems for multi-zone commercial and industrial facilities — central plant, reticulation, pumps and controls designed for continuous, efficient operation.

Glycol Systems

Glycol chillers and reticulation for breweries, dairies, food processing and specialist applications — correctly sized, balanced and commissioned for your temperature and flow requirements.

LPG & Gas-Related Cooling

Cooling applications tied to gas and LPG infrastructure — engineered to meet the specific safety and performance requirements of the installation.

Hatchery & Agricultural Systems

Temperature and humidity control for hatcheries, aquaculture and agricultural applications — environments where precise conditions directly affect yield and survival.

Food Processing & Production Cooling

Process rooms, blast chillers and batch cooling for food manufacturers and caterers — designed to pull down quickly and hold temperature under production load.

Data & Critical Environment Cooling

Precision cooling for data racks, server rooms and clean rooms — systems engineered to hold tight tolerances and run reliably around the clock.

Custom Temperature-Controlled Environments

Purpose-built rooms and systems for applications that don't fit a standard category — if you need a specific temperature, humidity or airflow profile, we can design and build it.

Sectors we work in

Industries that can't afford a cooling failure

Pharmaceutical & medical storage
Cold-chain logistics
Remote & regional Queensland operations

The experience behind every system

We don't just talk about process cooling — we've done it at scale. Our project history includes refrigeration systems protecting approximately $230 million in pharmaceutical product and approximately $10 million in food for remote Far North Queensland communities, alongside decades of commercial and industrial work across the Sunshine Coast and regional Queensland.

That experience means we understand what's at stake when a process cooling system goes down — and we design systems that won't.

FAQ

Process cooling questions, answered

What is process cooling?

Process cooling is dedicated refrigeration designed to remove heat from an industrial or commercial process — rather than air conditioning a space for people. It includes chilled-water circuits, glycol systems, blast chillers and custom cooling loops for equipment, production lines and specialist applications. The system is sized to the heat load and duty cycle of the process, not to a room size.

Do you design and build industrial refrigeration systems from scratch?

Yes. We design, install and commission industrial and process refrigeration systems from the ground up — including chilled-water plant, glycol systems, process coolers and custom temperature-controlled environments. We also service, repair and upgrade existing systems.

Can you work on glycol systems for breweries and dairies?

Yes. We install and maintain glycol chillers and reticulation for breweries, dairies and food processors across the Sunshine Coast and regional Queensland. We size the chiller to your heat load, balance the reticulation, and commission the system to hold your target temperature under production conditions.

Do you do hatchery and agricultural refrigeration?

Yes. We design and install temperature and humidity control systems for hatcheries, aquaculture and agricultural applications — environments where precise conditions directly affect yield, product quality and survival rates.

Can you cool data rooms and server racks?

Yes. We design and install precision cooling for data racks, server rooms and clean rooms — systems engineered to hold tight temperature tolerances and run reliably 24/7. We understand the consequences of a cooling failure in a critical environment and size accordingly.

Do you travel to regional Queensland for industrial refrigeration work?

Yes. While we're based on the Sunshine Coast, we take on commercial and industrial refrigeration projects across regional Queensland — including Agnes Water, Bundaberg, Chinchilla, Cairns and remote communities. Our service vehicles are set up for extended away jobs.

Got a process that needs cooling?

Tell us your heat load, your target temperature and your operating conditions — we'll design a system that holds it.
